Jeanne-Marie de Maille : ウィキペディア英語版 | Jeanne-Marie de Maille Jeanne-Marie de Maille (1331−1414) was a French saint. ==Biography== Jeanne de Maille was born in 1331 to a baron of Maille in Saint Quentin, France. In her youth she was inspired by Virgin Mary and was named after her later on. Her father died when she was almost 15 years of age, and due to it, lived with her grandfather who was not young for his age either. He chose her a man to marry who was a rich person named Baron Robert of Silly. During the wedding, her grandfather died and she became a virgin as a result of it. Her husband did not mind that at all, and they lived in a Christian household for the rest of their lives. After her husband died due to war which broke out between England and France, she became a nurse and helped many sick and poor, for which she prayed as well. She was 82 years old when she died in 1414 and was buried in a habit of Third order. Her death was also blessed by Pope Pius IX because she united the Christendom.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Jane Mary of Maille )〕 During her life she saw a vision of Saint Ivasian who told her that she should live this world.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Appearance to Blessed Jeanne Marie de Maillé )〕
